Temp article[edit]

Admin needs to move the temp article fixing the purported problems into place. Thornfield Hall (talk) 09:20, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there's still a lot of overlap with the source webpage. Please have a look at Earwig's tool to view the overlap. — Diannaa (talk) 22:36, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see how much more can be done without compromising its ability to convey the information accurately. "Edward A. Stevenson, George L. Shoup, Frank W. Hunt, Robert E. Smylie, and Cecil D. Andrus." These governors are listed in this order for the same reason they are on the city's website: because its chronological. That's a copyright violation? It also highlights the address itself as contributing to the similarities. What can anybody do about that? Thornfield Hall (talk) 02:43, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not necessary or desirable to alter people's names. Chronological lists are okay to keep. That said, there's whole paragraphs of prose that match the source. If you can't mend it, the content will be removed. — Diannaa (talk) 19:49, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
