About Ethylene Glycol[edit]
I can not understand, how Ethylene glycol, a very toxic liquid, - can be used as a Cryoprotectant in biological systems!!! Krasss (talk) 22:37, 19 August 2008 (UTC).
Cryoprotectant doesnt protect cells from dying, but from forming ice crystals when freezing
