As tagged, there are severe NPOV issues here. I'm going to attempt to clean it up some (by removing the blatantly politcal slant), but since the part of the article relating to the nominal topic is unsourced, I may be limited. Help would be welcome. bfigura 00:33, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to be more of a hodge-podge essay and not an encyclopedia article. There is a lot that can be said about the way Cuba handles emergencies. It would probably be better to write an article about the main government body responsible for handling emergency preparedness, emergency response, and civil defense, and name it accordingly. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 22:00, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
