Position on Erdogan missing[edit]

They have been accused of being supportive of him, quite negatively as Erdogan is generally considered a dictator, or at least, wannabe/soon-to-be dictator in the Netherlands. Their response seems to be a non-response taking it personally, and Calimero it. I think this is the biggest controversy about them.88.159.73.118 (talk) 14:17, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Diyanet section[edit]

While listing criticism of Denk's involvement with Diyanet is legitimate, calling a recognised democratic party's communications propaganda is far from a neutral POV. Could someone with access to the original source rewrite? Ramp123 (talk) 14:33, 12 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The source itself called it "propaganda", but didn't have any context. I rewrote the sentence in a way that hopefully conveys the same information without taking sides. Thanks for being so specific in your criticism! Geckop (talk) (please ping me) 07:42, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bias[edit]

There seems to be a lot of bias here. I don't see a controversies section in any of the other Dutch political party articles (not even the far-right populists). Further, some of these controversies are particular to a politician rather than the party as a whole. This needs to be addressed by merging such issues into the relevant politicians' wiki article. Sseevv (talk) 21:47, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The antisemitism section can moved to page of kuzu. Shadow4dark (talk) 22:22, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed on that. It also seems appropriate to place the Palestinian flag section on Kuzu's page. There are academic publications which do discuss possible connections with AKP, so that is relevant here (as it's about the party as a whole). But the article needs to be written in a balanced way. Every Dutch political party has controversial issues, but none are displayed like it is here.Sseevv (talk) 19:08, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As the "Disingenuous campaigning" is very much under Azarkan, I will merge and improve it to his main article. It is shocking to see that Facebook has been used as a citation in this article. Sseevv (talk) 19:54, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This party is not center-left[edit]

This is the farthest left party in the Netherlands. It is delusional to call it center left. 172.59.187.186 (talk) 21:33, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not acr sources https://tweedekamer2023.kieskompas.nl/nl/results/compass Shadow4dark (talk) 02:03, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The last sources you added did not mention "far left" and is from American Conservative thinktank and should not used as source. Shadow4dark (talk) 16:30, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DENK (political party)Denk (political party) – Suggesting to undo the move by a sockpuppet of the permanently banned user User:Wwikix under the pretense that "DENK" is the official name. It isn't. "Politieke Beweging Denk" is the official name. DENK is just a self-styled all-caps format of the official name "Denk". Denk is not an acronym (or even a backronym!) for anything. It's just a word in Dutch and Turkish. DENK (political party) is the equivalent of TIME (magazine), which is against our title policy/guideline. gidonb (talk) 19:19, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely! And Nu.nl isn't an acronym either! "nu" simply means now in Dutch. This website styles already a while half its name in all-caps and still it is unsure that one should use DENK. The hesitation further strengthens the argument that we should only use Denk! gidonb (talk) 01:49, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

social democrat?[edit]

the article pushes hard the idea that this party is social democrat. the source is just a rightwing opinion article https://www.ewmagazine.nl/nederland/opinie/2016/11/denk-wil-de-burger-heropvoeden-waarvan-kennen-we-dat-ook-weer-401152/ its a bad, silly source, an attack piece

something like this suggests the economics is more centre https://stukroodvlees.nl/denk-stemmer-progressief-en-conservatief/ this is about the voters, but its reason to look for more sources abawaak dixit 12:32, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is a older sources before denk had their party program. Also the writer of EW is member of right wing VVD party. Shadow4dark (talk) 17:48, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
