untitled section[edit]

My table-fu sucks, so feel free. These entries were parsed from List of landings on extraterrestrial bodies, and the article itself was inspired by the upcoming demise of the Cassini space probe kencf0618 (talk) 01:17, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No matter, I got a round tuit. kencf0618 (talk) 22:57, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sky Crane photos[edit]

We need 'em. kencf0618 (talk) 13:52, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Annoying animated gif[edit]

The animated gif is pretty annoying. Is there a standard Wikipedia way to turn them into video clips with stop and start abilities?

Deliberate crash landings on extraterrestrial bodiesList of spacecraft intentionally crashed into extraterrestrial bodies – Article is formatted as a list would be. 50.245.38.157 (talk) 18:35, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of deliberate crash landings on extraterrestrial bodies would probably be better. LouisOrr27 (talk) 19:58, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"Extraterrestrial bodies" is not an official term; see this article. I plan on renaming all articles with that incorrect term in their title. 50.245.38.157 (talk) 21:24, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
However, Earth is an astronomical body and it is not within the scope of this article/list, right? Dekimasuよ! 03:59, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose you are correct with the extraterrestrial piece. I'll edit the move request, thanks for the correction. 50.245.38.157 (talk) 12:48, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree on the removal of the past tense, allowing discussion of future crashes. However, I suggest the term "intentional" over "deliberate". The intentionality is key; any deliberation is secondary. Dotyoyo (talk) 21:35, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the intentional piece, I'll edit the move request accordingly. Thanks for the idea! 50.245.38.157 (talk) 22:25, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
