Sentence needs clarification[edit]

In this present version under Plot is the sentence "Günther, a young man, the son of a butcher who received a severe education..." - which requires clarification:

"severe education - is the intention perhaps "strict upbringing"? Or harsh?
Who received the aforesaid education: Günther or his father (the butcher)? The present lack of a comma after "butcher" indicates the latter.

As my knowledge of German is only rudimentary, I ask input from those better equipped to do the rewrite. -- Deborahjay (talk) 20:29, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
