In the world of electronic paper, E Ink is clearly notable. Is the Corp. notable?[edit]

In the world of electronic paper, E Ink is clearly notable. However, the article would be even stronger (and more likely to survive a Vote for Deletion if it were ever nominated) if other markers of notability that satisfy Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations) could be added to the article. For reference, the three ways a company can show notability is: 1) multiple non-trivial mentions in publications (i.e., not press releases or newspaper reprints thereof), 2) being listed in a ranking index of important companies (i.e., Fortune 500 and the like), or 3) being used to calculate a stock index. My guess is that most likely E Ink will qualify as notable by have multiple non-trival mentions in publications talking about electronic paper in general, since my guess is that it doesn't fall under (2) or (3). Finding high-quality examples of such mentions and adding them to the article would be excellent. — Saxifrage 20:01, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose to merge E Ink Corporation into E Ink. I think that the content in the E Ink Corporation article can easily be integrated into the E Ink page. The E Ink corporation article is of a reasonable size that the merging of E Ink will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. Blabelle (talk)
