Undergraduate history[edit]

Apparently she is a graduate of University of Wisconsin Madison. (70.171.25.208 (talk) 04:01, 20 February 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Doesn't she also have a LLM degree? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.49.20.187 (talk) 02:44, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why does she talk like that?[edit]

I know this is kinda weird, and it's possible (though unlikely, seeing as it's a result on google's autocomplete function) that people aren't interested, but I feel like there should be some discussion about the highly distinct manner in which Ms. Van Susteren speaks. You know what I'm talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Osiriscorleone (talkcontribs) 05:08, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Elvis Presley also talked from the corner of his mouth, it is cool. 173.169.90.98 (talk) 03:28, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think it might be because of "misuse" of forceps at her birth - my suspicion is based on similarity with Sylvester Stallone's way of talking, and the misuse of forceps are mentioned in his article. --Spec (talk) 18:14, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. Thanks for your response! — Osiriscorleone (talk) 00:31, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The uneven look to her face looks more like a case of some type of facial palsy but not I'm certain which kind. Greta is named on the page List of people with Bell's Palsy but no citation is provided to back up the claim. The cause of Bell's Palsy is unknown but head surgery procedures (cosmetic, brain, sinus or ear) or a stroke can result in other forms of palsy. 22yearswothanks (talk) 02:40, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If she does have facial palsy I admire her, even if sometimes disagree, for overcoming the difficulties of not having fully functioning facial muscles and be working in a job that requires talking. 22yearswothanks (talk) 02:50, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dutch ancestry[edit]

Her surname literally means "of Susteren" — indicating that her Dutch ancestry hailed from Susteren. Does this merit mention in the article? -JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 04:27, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not necessarily. It might also mean that the family owned major property there, not necessarily that the family is from there. Though since Susteren is in a fairly minor area, I think in this case chances are high that you are right. 2001:982:8522:1:609C:723D:498F:33E6 (talk) 11:22, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Political affiliations[edit]

There is no information regarding her political affiliations. Has she ever been verified as a member of either the Republican or Democratic parties? What of her political contributions, if any? Laval (talk) 12:04, 11 June 2015 (UTC) Seeing as she is from New York, she may be a member of the Conservative or Liberal Parties. In New York, one may identify as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:983:4602:A0C0:3CC6:3F12:AF7C:CD3E (talk) 02:17, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestry cats[edit]

Current ancestry cats:

  • American people of Dutch descent
  • American people of French descent
  • American people of German descent
  • American people of Icelandic descent
  • American people of Irish descent

Only the Dutch ancestry is explained in the article. Are the others just wild guesses or odd rumours? We really need some sources or they'll have to be removed. Bataaf van Oranje (talk) 13:01, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Current Fox News Personalities"[edit]

I removed this box at the bottom because she left. There was a little note above the box saying this was under discussion, for some reason. I hope it's not a controversial deletion, if it said just "Fox News Personalities" there would be a different controversy. Danwroy (talk) 22:22, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Does she have any ideas?[edit]

If so, this Wikipedia article would be a good place to describe them. There's nothing in here about her ideas -- political, social, law, or otherwise. It's just a CV. --Nbauman (talk) 15:56, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • She's not a philosopher or politician, is she? She's a newsy person, the glue between stories. Drmies (talk) 14:24, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Immigration:[edit]

All I hear from both parties that our immigration laws are BROKEN. Nobody that I have heard has informed me what’s broken since we do have laws on the books. So, what is broken. 2603:9000:82F0:51F0:845B:F779:64AB:E23 (talk) 21:49, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
