Untitled[edit]

Wikified as part of the Wikification wikiproject! Sections were mostly in place, I formatted the start paragraph, cleaned up section headers a little. Cleanup needed. JubalHarshaw 18:08, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Writing Style[edit]

Hey, this looks like one of those articles written like an advertisement! Isn't that discouraged? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.235.251.198 (talk) 10:26, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. This is not encyclopedic. Phone numbers to arrange tours, prices of lunches in the cafetaria? Seriously, this needs to be reduced to a useful entry. Superp (talk) 15:36, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps the education department needs a course teaching The Elements of Style. I did a pass on the front, feel free to keep cutting. What's stopping you? W Nowicki (talk) 18:35, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Loves Art[edit]

Please note this museum is participating in the Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art (Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art/Honolulu Academy of Arts rules). All interested editors are invited to participate in this project.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:35, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Our events at the museum arecoming up quite soon. See the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Hawaii#Wikipedia Loves Art museum photography event in Honolulu Feb 14, 15 and 27 for details. Thanks!--Pharos (talk) 20:35, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-current information[edit]

Aloha! I have a WP:COI re: editing this page, but wanted to alert other editors to the fact that some of the information provided on this page is no longer current, e.g., the Movie and Art Talks, the Ambassador Program, the keiki kits, the Lending Collection hours. Listing Shangri La beside the art school, theatre, library, and Spalding House also seems to suggest that Shangri La is owned/operated by the museum.
