The quotation in the section on the Greek system says "his device still fell far short of our requirements, as can be seen from his description of it" but that part of the text seems not to be included. Is it only "if the apparatus works at the same pace in both cases"? It would be interesting to include something on the limitations, at least in summary. "Ancient" relief picture[edit]
I have seen a lot of Ancient art, and I am prepared to bet a large sum of money that the depiction of the hydraulic telegraph that graces this article is not at all authentic but rather comes from a museum exhibition that used ancient-looking props to deliver its ideas. Does anyone have any info on its origin? Otherwise I'd rather have it removed as spurious. Trigaranus (talk) 05:48, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
