Three characters added from 1987 to 2003[edit]

Since three characters are missing in this page, it can be concluded that the added characters where: euro sign U+20AC, drachma sign U+20AF and Greek Ypogegrammeni U+037A. Raise exception (talk) 18:25, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Windows code page references need correction[edit]

This article claims that Windows pages 28597 and 1253 comply to 8859/7. This is not true, see this Microsoft Connect bug that I created.

CP 28597 has 2 code points (A1 & A2) that differ and CP 1253 has even 9! differences with the standard. Confusing is that Microsoft does claim conformance in several places (see links in the bug). As Microsoft is apparently not repairing the issue, I requested them to update the documentation.

This specific page should be changed to mention partial adherence by 28597 and CP 1253 should probably be removed completely.
