ISO 3864 has been superseded by ISO 7010. Measuretwice (talk) 16:18, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The two complement each other; ISO 3864 sets out the design principles and colour requirements for safety signs, and ISO 7010 gives a set of symbols based on these principles and requirements. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 12:47, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Harmonized[edit]

ANSI Z.535 is no longer incompatible with the international standard. The 2007 revision of ANSI Z.535 series is harmonized with ISO 3864-2.
