The article is poorly written. There are hardly any citations. And the content is mostly based on legends without any mention of the historicity of the person. For example, there is a lot of debate in the scholarly community on whether Jakanachari is a single person or a group of people. And whether he actually built all the hundreds of temples that are attributed to him. There are even questions about his very existence by some scholars. The article has no information on that. And it is completely based on folklore shown in popular films. A scholar on Indian history or architecture would improve the article to a great extent. And, that's the reason for adding the tag.
