Notability and sources?[edit]

On the face of it, this subject could meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for politicians but I've tried, and failed, to come up with any reliable third party sources. I've found this single mention of him as President of "...the All-India Minorities and Dalit Front ... (section headed "Dalit front to visit Gujarat), which doesn't fit the text in this article. I'll post a plea for help at the India Project.--Plad2 (talk) 07:26, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

His name is Ujagar Singh Sekhwan, Jathedar is just a title, so you'll have better luck with that. A couple of links in this show that he was an MLA, but I can't say when. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 08:05, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Punjab section on this link will record his election victories, but I can't figure out which year. —SpacemanSpiff 08:48, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
