Untitled[edit]

Amazing, 5 days after release, HP i3 based computers are already released. I saw two at two different Costco locations.

That is because it is scheduled to market that way. HP has already designed the system, tested it and probably even made the first shipment and they are waiting at the retailer for the official release to happen and then they can start selling them. 134.134.137.71 (talk) 23:53, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like there are two physical packages for at least the i3-330m, a BGA and a PGA (http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=47663). I've been looking for upgrade paths and having this info added to the page would be extremely helpful, but I'm not sure exactly how to get the two-row cells with the template. Pootworm (talk) 19:24, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The template needs expanded to allow for multiple socket types. sock= does not cut it and sock1= sock2= sock3= sock4= needs to be added/implemented. 134.134.137.71 (talk) 23:53, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

K0 Stepping?[edit]

Don't you think the reference to the K0 stepping processors should be on the "list of future Intel Microprocessors" page instead of this one? After all, clicking the link to the Intel website makes it fairly obvious that this stepping has not been released yet. 173.187.14.108 (talk) 18:41, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'd expect them to show up there soon, but the processorfinder page is often somewhat behind. Moving them to the future list is probably much more work than is worth for this change and would just confuse people more than it helps. We could hide them in <!-- comments for now until they make it into the other pages, or just leave them there based on the information on the mdds page. Note that the new i5-680 is listed as K0 stepping in the specification update and on ark, while the older ones are only listed with the original stepping. Turbo for i3-330UM?[edit]

The list says the Core i3-330UM has 6/4 turbo ratio, but intel page (http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=49021) says it has no Intel Turbo Boost technology. Is it an error on wiki? Where were the numbers taken from? Strohel (talk) 08:58, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gladden = server products?[edit]

I've posted this elsewhere, but are Gladden chips server products? There are a couple of Xeon variants, but I've mainly seen them categorized as embedded storage/communication/etc. solutions. --Azul120 (talk) 21:47, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion at Talk:List of Intel Core processors: post-merge table redesign[edit]

 You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:List of Intel Core processors § Table redesign. I am intending to redesign the tables to remove less relevant info like part numbers, as well as merge same cells, remove segmentation rows, etc. — AP 499D25 (talk) 05:13, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't The i3 540, 550, 560, and others have 4 threads.[edit]

I noticed that some CPUs on the i3 wikipedia article are listed as having 2 cores that are not multi threaded, have I missed something or is it a mistake. Jaspian (talk) 16:23, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Should this logo: File:Intel Core 3 logo.png would be placed again or not? I placed this because of brand renaming from Intel Core i3. HarmonZach (talk) 00:40, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
