– This should follow WP:LOWERCASE. Both the National Monuments Act 1930 and the Historic and Archaeological Heritage and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 use lowercase letters for national monument, as does the National Monuments Service within the body of text on its site. Move: go ahead, this make perfect sense. However, if this goes ahead then there are a number of categories that need renaming as they use uppercase, such as Category:National Monuments in County Wicklow and Category:Lists of National Monuments of Ireland. ww2censor (talk) 11:42, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support. This is routine WP:SIGCAPS and WP:NCCAPS stuff. Maybe with a touch of MOS:DOCTCAPS and WP:OFFICIALNAME. (WP doesn't capitalise things just because bureaucratese/officialese likes to do so; it has to be done nearly uninformly by independent reliable secondary sources.
