Please[edit]

This is very wrong, a company is an organization with economic purposes and never charitable because the company seeks economic benefit Hastengeims (talk) 20:12, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You can probably reword it to something like:

A legal entity is an entity that is formed and administered as per local laws to engage in business activities, charitable work, or other activities allowed in a particular jurisdiction.

In many countries, even a charitable organization is required to register before they can legally conduct their "business". —ᜌᜓᜃᜒ (Yuki|雪亮) (talk | Contribs) 20:35, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update Norway[edit]

Hi, the NO wiki page list on this subject is not the same as the list here: https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selskapsformer_i_Norge . Two items of interest: SA (Samvirke) a coop model that organizes a lot of agrobusiness, and "Inner company (Secret company)" often preferred by brokers.
