– Per WP:COMMONNAME, I am requesting that List of people on the postage stamps of the Republic of China be moved to List of people on the postage stamps of Taiwan to match Taiwan.

I am requesting that the redirect List of people on the postage stamps of China be moved to List of people on the postage stamps of China (1878–1949) to free up the target for another page move that I will discuss in the next paragraph. The 1878–1949 dates are based on this listing, and see the background about the redirect's page history here.

Per WP:COMMONNAME, I am requesting that List of people on the postage stamps of the People's Republic of China be moved to List of people on the postage stamps of China to match China.

Thank you. Cunard (talk) 11:44, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support all three moves per standard usage at Wikipedia (i.e. use "Taiwan" for post-1949 Republic of China). Even though the second move would be a move of what is now a redirect, it is important to keep the edit history in case of page re-creation. —  AjaxSmack  17:06, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support all three moves. COMMONNAMEs, and common sense too. Pilaz (talk) 00:05, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
