Given the short life of this division, I suggest that you change the coverage to include the prewar and the changes made before the Battle of France as well since the divisional article doesn't cover them.
I have started work on this. I have thrown together a new section, with the changing OOB for the 1937–1940 period prior to the Battle of France. I still need to go through and add some source information, move some text around, and see if I can find a few extra photos. Hopefully, I will be able to get that done later today. So far though, was this what you were looking for and do you have any GA-related comments for the new material (I will source, so no need to worry on that front - just yet ;) ). I guess once we have finalized the GA process, I will move the article to "List of orders of battle for the British 1st Armoured Division"?EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 15:04, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What happened to the elements of the 1st Support Group when it was disbanded in Feb '42, in general terms. So the division had no organic artillery from Feb '42 through 1st El Alamein?
Say that organic artillery was reintroduced to the division as part of the lead-up to 2nd Alamein

On rereading the background section, you defined the difference between light and cruiser tanks, but didn't explain the difference between light and heavy cruisers. A reader doesn't know if it's armor or gun size or what.

Captions are generally considered to be incomplete sentences and don't use full stops.

Add don't forget to add something about the lack of artillery until 2nd Alamein, despite the reorgs.
I took another look after you brought this up, and it turns out I forgot to add in the brigade group OOBs. The artillery moved from being a divisional asset to being under brigade command. I have updated the lists to point this out.EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 17:50, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I am not sure about that side of things. It does look like all the automatic things have done what they to do.
