Bestselling Poky Little Puppy[edit]

The source that PLP is the all-time bestselling children's book is nineteen years old. That's a lot of years. I'm not sure, barring a newer source, that claim should remain in the article. At least it ought to be qualified with an as of 2001. Thmazing (talk) 01:53, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you check the quoted source it says "The lists are based on actual sales as reported by publishers; they reflect domestic sales only, and do not include book club and international sales. Books in the public domain generally are not listed, since aggregate sales figures are not available."

According to the list cited, The Poky Little Puppy sold 14,898,341 copies. According to https://www.infoplease.com/culture-entertainment/journalism-literature/top-ten-best-selling-childrens-books-all-time, The Little Prince has sold 140 million copies. In fact the 20th book on that list, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is estimated to have sold ~20 million copies. List of Little Golden Books?[edit]

Should there be a list of Little Golden Books releases here? Failing that, I know the fandom.com site has one here but I don't know if we're allowed to link to Fandom wikis. Plus, the list doesn't appear to be up to date as it appears to omit the Betty White book that came out last fall. Is there another option we can put in External Links? I did a Google search and most everything that came up were either collectors pages dedicated to a selected few (i.e. Poky Little Puppy), or ads for current releases or ones being sold via ebay, etc. 23skidoo (talk) 17:00, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Star Trek TOS[edit]

I took Star Trek TOS off the list of PG-13-rated properties licensed by LGB as that's the 1960s TV series, which was not rated (and would not exceed PG in any event). Possible someone meant to refer to the more recent reboot films, which are PG-13 but as far as I'm aware the Trek books published under the TGB banner such as I Am Captain Kirk skew more towards the TV show. 70.73.90.119 (talk) 14:44, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
