Much of the information on this page is outdated, so I have put together a more up to date general overview which would be great if someone in the Community would be willing to edit.

Macmillan Education is an international educational publisher based in London, United Kingdom. It is one of the world’s largest publishers of English and foreign language learning material and is a successful publisher of school curriculum material and academic journals and textbooks. It is part of the Macmillan Science and Education group and is wholly owned by Holtzbrinck Publishing group. [1]


Company Overview

Macmillan Education is headquartered at the Macmillan Campus in central London. It employs over 2,000 people working in over 120 countries and has publishing hubs in locations including New York, Miami, Melbourne, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Mexico City, New Delhi, Tokyo, Madrid and Warsaw. Chief Executive Officer Simon Allen oversees the three core activities of Macmillan Education: language learning, school and curriculum, and higher education publishing. Macmillan Education is part of the Macmillan Science and Education group which is wholly owned by Holtzbrinck Publishing Group based in Stuttgart, Germany. [2]

Doesn't say when the company was founded or by whom: Google suggests in 1843 by brothers Daniel and Alexander Macmillan. But your page has nothing prior to the 21st century! Equinox 20:59, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
