Image copyright problem with Image:Senate michigan.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Senate michigan.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Edit war[edit]

You cannot just keep reverting my original edit. There is nothing wrong with this article. Just because you don't like the fact that someone is correcting your inaccuracies, poor grammar and other mistakes. I removed a plethora of mistakes, which you keep trying to re-publish. As with the Michigan House of Representatives article, you need to explain what is it you're arguing about in this article. This is a talk page for making suggestions and specific requests — not just pointing out what someone else might be doing wrong. If there is an accuracy dispute, please explain more appropriately and others will be glad to give assistance and make corrections in the event that another editor is wrong. — ♣№tǒŖïøŭş4lĭfė♫♪ 19:43, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

President Pro Tempore[edit]

Could there be some mention of how officers are chosen, particularly the president pro tempore? I think i'd heard in passing that it's usually the longest-serving state senator of the majority party, but I have nothing to back that up. I've tried searching the state constitution concerning how legislative officers are chosen, but couldn't find anything on the president pro temp aside. If someone else could find the senate rules on this, that would be great. The other officers are kind of obvious in that their caucus picks them, but I'm still unsure of how the president pro temp is chosen. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:10, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
