Name[edit]

I realized that there are several different writing on the name of the victim. Most medias reported him as Joshua, hence Brigadier J, while others stated that his name was Yosua. I think we need to discuss this. PaPa PaPaRoony (talk) 03:17, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The alternative spelling can certainly be added to the lead [now done]. A quick Google search suggests 'Yosua' is used more frequently than 'Joshua' in this context. Paul W (talk) 12:25, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Perpetrator(s)[edit]

I have just reverted edits that named a perpetrator of the killing in the infobox. It may be different in Indonesia, but in the UK, sub judice rules regulate publication of information once court proceedings have been instigated, including anticipating the outcome of a trial. I think the naming of any perpetrators(s) should await the formal outcome of their trials. Paul W (talk) 07:49, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infoboxes[edit]

I am not sure that the article should have two (arguably three) infoboxes. Wikipedia guidance (WP:INFOBOX) says "An infobox is a panel, usually in the top right of an article, next to the lead section...." 'A panel' suggests just one. The article currently has one alongside the lead and a second (with a third one embedded within it) alongside the victim section; there is some repetition of detail, and two identical images of Hutabarat is unnecessary in my view. Perhaps one infobox should be removed, or details merged to eliminate the unnecessary repetition of photo and details? Paul W (talk) 16:26, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
