Proposal to merge into new NXP article[edit]

I'm wanting to do a major overhaul of the NXP microcontroller articles. Unfortunately the NXP microcontrollers don't have a nice generic family name like some other vendors, such as STM32 or EFM32, so choosing an article titles is harder. Some possibilities are "NXP LPC", "NXP LPCxxxx", " NXP LPC CPU", "NXP ARM Microcontollers", ... My current choice is "NXP LPC", but I'm still open for alternate names.

Proposed Steps

Move "LPC1000" ---> "NXP LPC" (or better name)
Merge text from "LPC2000" ---> "NXP LPC"
Change "LPC2000" into a redirect
Fix redirects in all "LPCxxxx"
Overhaul various parts of new article to support new name.
Expand new article to include all LPC series

I waited a while, but no responses, so I went ahead and "moved" the article, and did a quick overhaul of it. I still need to merge LCP2000 into this article. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 05:31, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
