This article has been re-created as a result of split of Nero (computer software). --Kubanczyk (talk) 23:00, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kinda fitting that the program is called "Nero Burning Rom/e/". :> In several languages there is no e to the capital of Italy either, so the match becomes perfect. /Strausszek (talk) 07:04, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nero MAX[edit]

Nero MAX was a Macintosh disc burning program for pre-OS X Mac OS. It was never sold direct, only as bundleware with some burners. There were only a couple of update releases before Nero AG discontinued it. A full installer of the final release has been posted online by one or two companies, but labeled as an "updater". Without direct retail sales and the only way to find any info about it on Nero's website being through web search engines that happened to stumble over and index the page, Nero MAX failed to gain market share against Toast and other Macintosh disc burning software. I never could confirm it, but Nero MAX appeared to have been a product licensed from another company then rebranded by Nero. Nero MAX has no support for HD-DVD or Blu-Ray since it was discontinued well before those HD disc formats were created. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.232.94.33 (talk) 11:15, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated as of May 2010[edit]

Hi, everyone. As of this writing, this article is outdated. Nero is no longer releasing a Nero software suite. It is now releasing two products instead: Nero Multimedia Suite 10 and Nero Burning ROM 10. An update is required. Fleet Command (talk) 04:46, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More Information is Required[edit]

The version history doesn't list the significant features that define each version. That's rather the point of having such a listing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Markus451 (talkcontribs) 08:31, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gutted[edit]

Hey, how much do they pay you to delete the original articles and put up these ads??? CFLeon (talk) 22:40, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

HD Burn[edit]

The article needs a section on HD Burn. It appears to be some method of recording more data than the normal capacity of a disc. I had one DVD burner labled as being HD Burn compatible and it came with a bundled copy of Nero. I never tried using HD Burn. Bizzybody (talk) 05:55, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
