The song profile[edit]

"Size = 0.9 MB Encoding = 128-bit Mono" surely, this article is about the song, not some file? Kaarel (talk) 22:04, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Desh should be renamed as Dexh[edit]

The S in Desh is a voiceless velar fricative, so its not actually 'S'. Desh is not an Assamese word. Its actually 'Dexh'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tizen03 (talkcontribs) 16:13, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes absolutely, or changed it to "Dekh" at the headline of the article. ArunHz (talk) 04:17, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

moved to O Mur Apunar Dekh in line with above. Moons of Io (talk) 20:10, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: moved to O Mur Apunar Desh. As both replies supported the alternative, I am going with O Mur Apunar Desh (closed by non-admin page mover) ASUKITE 14:26, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

O Mur Apunar DekhO Mur Apunar DexDekh means to look, which is not the correct word. The correct word is country, which is either Dex in Assamese phonetics, or Desh in generic Indian transcription Chaipau (talk) 23:59, 29 March 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). The request is to move this page back to either:

Support move to "O Mur Apunar Desh", since it got the most hits in Google search, followed by "O Mur Apunar Dekh" and "O Mur Apunar Dex". AS for the phonetics, we already have IPA in the lead sentence. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:22, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As the initial lister, "O Mur Apunar Desh" is acceptable over "O Mur Apunar Dex". Chaipau (talk) 20:52, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
