What is OverlayFS?[edit]

how does it work?[edit]

A description of how it works would be nice. For example, how inodes are used: if a file in lower layers is changed, does the change become visible in the upper layers? (it sees not?? because the inode changed???) misc non-obvious semantics ... 67.198.37.16 (talk) 00:49, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
