Split from other Pitfall II article[edit]

I've split these articles up. Despite their nearly identical titles, Pitfall II as an arcade game has a different developer. Any cursory view of a youtube play through will show that these are distinct games, with new game play elements (discussed in the article) and completely different level design. It is not a direct port and the reception of the game notes how different they are from the original titles. I feel that is enough to warrant a separate article instead of discussing them as if they were the same game. Andrzejbanas (talk) 06:22, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

The title of this game is clearly Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns, not Pitfall II: Lost Caverns. 128.151.71.8 (talk) 13:06, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The article was initially titled that, and then moved by an editor. Most publications I've read about it emphasize the "The" in the title. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:25, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
