Amour is not capitalised[edit]

The a of "amour" should not be capitalised. I couldn't move it. -- ♬ Jack of Oz[your turn] 02:16, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently, User:E-Kartoffel thought differently in May 2008, and then one of the ever-helpful bots cemented that move by making an edit, so now we need a WP:RM – which I would support. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:02, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Variant melody[edit]

There is little discussion anywhere about the different versions of the melody as published in various editions and sung by different singers. The downward interval in the first line of the text on the word "qu'un" is sometimes a major 2nd and sometimes a major 3rd. It seems to be a matter of choice as to which version of the melody is sung. The older French editions seem to prefer the major 2nd, the Italian editions the Major 3rd. Anyone who can cast light on this matter should do so, as the resulting melodies are noticeably different.Bkesselman (talk) 16:08, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding placement of link to YouTube[edit]

After putting in an inline reference to a Paul Robeson recording of Plaisir d'amour on YouTube, I saw the External Links Section. Should I move the link to the External Links Section or leave it as an inline. If I get really ambitious I may work on other links. Stargzer (talk) 04:46, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding comment[edit]

I want to add a comment: "As you listen to the version by The Seekers, you can hear that the lyrics vary only slightly from the lyrics of the Joan Baez version in this article." Can I add it in the reference, or does it not add anything to the article. One can see that Baez's lyrics are different from the original lyrics. Should differences between the various versions be discussed? The Robeson version's lyrics are different, too, although I found it hard to hear some of them with his deep voice (too late at night to turn the volume up!).
