Early post[edit]

I think this article should not be deleted because the group did enjoy fame in Malawi, and across Africa. Although there is not much internet information on them right now (other thatn numerous Malawi Music blogs)ie

there is an explanation and thats becasue of the absence of the presence of internet reporting enmass in Malawi. Malawian music was supressed duing the Banda era, the music scene in Malawi took a hit. It was mainly, international and traditional music, Reggae and gospel that came from Malawi. Most of the other music were foreign music heard on the radio. So the group came and chaned the types of music malawian artists were forming. The rap produced prior to them tended to mimic the west, and was all in English. The RE changed that.

Also, Promotion of Malawian bands during their time, did not take place on line. the onset of internet in Malawi came later than most countires so Malawian music has been at a disadvantage with online presence. The expense of maintaining sites is high. Tehi is why blogging has been so popular in the country. There were at least 4 music blogs that mentioned them and their impact- blogs cost less money. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.246.114.239 (talk) 00:23, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
