Untitled[edit]

It's not really accurate to describe her as a "British film actress." She was born and grew up in England, bus she moved to the US at age 16 and did the vast majority of her work in the US, which spanned film, TV, and stage. Suggest that this be just Sarah Marshall or Sarah Marshall (actress). There is one other Sarah Marshall (American stage actress) entry, with regard to disambiguation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samp4ngeles (talkcontribs) 11:54, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah Marshall (British film actress)Sarah Marshall (British actress) – I believe that "film" is redundant and "British" is adequate enough as there aren't other articles about British actresses of the same name. George Ho (talk) 10:09, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest English actress, as defined by the opening sentence. Unreal7 (talk) 00:55, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's also fine for me. George Ho (talk) 07:57, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actual sources used in the article refer to her as British, so I'd rather stick with that. Looks like she was an expat who mostly lived and worked in the US, though. This article was actually created as Sarah Marshall (American film actress), hence the extra disambiguation to distinguish from Sarah Marshall (American stage actress). • Support. Was going to be bold and do (British actress), simply because the lead states she didn't have many film appearances anyway. As for being British-American, the NYT states "Ms. Marshall was born in London on May 25, 1933. After her parents divorced in 1939, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles", yet her future career had her in both countries, by nearly equal amounts — Wyliepedia 06:40, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support proposed move to Sarah Marshall (British actress) per Wylie. PC78 (talk) 10:15, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support move to either (British actress) or (English actress).  ONR  (talk)  20:53, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
