Untitled[edit]

I've never seen the term "snow industry" before. Does it mean ski resorts? Or is snow for some reason exported from the mountainous region? Michael Hardy (talk) 05:15, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Highest coolest"[edit]

Why are the mountains listed as "the highest coolest Australian mountain range"? Just someone being silly, or a genuine climatalogical point? 86.132.138.248 (talk) 19:46, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I remember seeing that edit when it was made a few weeks ago, and I sort of wondered the same thing, but I forgot about it and didn't know it was still in the article. I've removed it for now, as it does sound a bit strange - but I wouldn't have a problem if someone wants to re-add it if it's true, probably with a reference and slightly different wording than "coolest". oldest living plant?[edit]

The ref given does not even mention, let alone support, this extravagant claim. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:26, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To add to this article[edit]

To add to this article (in order to help make it properly encyclopedic): a good map showing exactly where in Australia this mountain range is located. How is it possible that such a map isn't already in the current version of this article? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 21:24, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
