The result of the move request was: moved to Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue (Sudbury), without the 'u', as pointed out by Astrophobe. (closed by non-admin page mover) Vaticidalprophet 07:59, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sudbury’s Shaar Hashomayium SynagogueShaar Hashomayium Synagogue (Sudbury) – The synagogue does not seem to have "Sudbury's" as part of its name, but as there are multiple places called Shaar Hashamayim, a disambiguation is still needed. ~~~~

I would definitely think so. The Hebrew word is הַשָּׁמָיִם‎. ם‎ is "m" and יִ‎ is "yi", so the end of the word is certainly yim. I can't imagine anyone would intentionally transliterate it otherwise; that's the default Hebrew plural, and I've never seen it rendered into English any other way. ium looks like someone was more used to Latin endings. But regardless, RS all identify it the same way: Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue. - Astrophobe (talk) 16:40, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
