@AlbeitPK, there is differences between these two, which are noted in Journal No. 178. A sentence from the journal – "It [Tangail Saree (West Bengal)] may be surprising to note that Tangail saree of Bengal did not come from Tangail in East Bengal (now Bangladesh), rather it is a hybrid of Shantipur design and Dhaka-Tangail". -- খাঁ শুভেন্দু (talk) 10:34, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge: Both articles created by a single indian editor after Indian GI Tag and protest in Bangladesh thus brought south asian poison in Wikipedia! Original or fusion both sarees could be well integrated in a single „Tangail Saree“ article. Clear example Rasgulla, Bengali and odisha different varieties and different GI Tags well mentioned and guys be civil and behave well! The article is largely expanded on, which is a good thing. But most part of the article do not have the necessary references, and the titles of two paragraphs (Tangail Saree History: Know the history of Tangail Saree and Bangladeshi Tangail Saree History) do not seem appropriate.
