The result of the move request was: pages moved after 2 relists. (non-admin closure) GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 02:12, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

– Despite the fact that this was a series on HBO, one of the biggest premium channels in the United States, a one season show should not be more significant over two albums that both have the same name as this show. 68.199.254.223 (talk) 01:48, 11 August 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. • Weak support. This is one of those cases where the two main aspects of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC are at odds. On the one hand, the cancelled series is certainly what I find most when I search for "The Brink"; on the other hand, the fact that it's also the most recent probably plays into that — plus, even just the first page of web search results includes various non-series things like a gallery in Montana and a lounge in Wisconsin, which I think is revealing. This move request probably would've been better raised a year or two down the road when we're a bit farther from the series, but I admit it's tough to imagine that a cancelled, single-season show will have enduring long-term notability and will greatly outweigh all other uses of the name, so I'll (weakly) support the move. ╠╣uw [talk] 10:25, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Support same reasoning as ╠╣uw above. The cancelled TV show is very recent so naturally gets more hits, but long term none of these are particularly notable or encyclopaedic. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:04, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Even cancelled it receives *97%* of the page view traffic.[1] The show was also on a major TV channel whereas both the albums were released on independent labels and don't seem to have garnered remotely comparable coverage in the sources. In fact I doubt The Brink (Alternative 4 album) is even notable, it's an album by a metal musician's side project.--Cúchullain t/c 17:36, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. None of the three topics are particularly significant. The page view statistics are meaningless this close to the show's broadcast and cancellation. No primary topic should be the default in such situations. Andrewa (talk) 14:51, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
