– No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC by page views or long-term significance, so DAB should be at base name. The footballer has to be disambiguated further as per WP:NCSP; there's another English footballer named Tom Wainwright (legal name Thomas), so birthyear is perhaps best disambiguator. Support moving of dab page to basename, but oppose suggested disambiguator for Thomas Wainwright. Plain (footballer) is enough to disambiguate him from the cricketer, and his common name disambiguates him from Tom Wainwright.
