Is it OK to replace broken link to "maybe-restricted" material with Internet Archive Link?[edit]

Link in to "Software Engineering: An Idea Whose Time Has Come and Gone?" is broken, but IA has it:

https://web.archive.org/web/20100801083400/http://www2.computer.org/cms/Computer.org/ComputingNow/homepage/2009/0709/rW_SO_Viewpoints.pdf

If this is correct, could someone do it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.0.36.74 (talk) 16:26, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Though the article in IEEE Software is behind a paywall, the IA copy shows that it was openly available at Computing Now when archived. I think linking to it is fine and am adding it. StarryGrandma (talk) 18:17, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
