The Trade Centre Wales has now become a major South Wales employer employing over 155 staff accross 3 showrooms in South Wales. They have the largest workshop facility and the largest used car sales pitch in Wales. This company will grow significantly and is extremely well known.

Deletion Dispute[edit]

I think that this company should be left on Wikipedia due to it being well known in Wales. There are other company pages on Wikipedia that are known in smaller areas such as Filco Foods. Maybe it could be reworded by myself or someone who is able to help out. I am in no way affiliated with Trade Centre Wales, but just thought it should be included as they are a reputable company that is well known. --Wacky WeLsH LaD (talk) 14:40, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I second the importance of this company is a large employer in the South Wales area and very well known. The page still requires a lot of attention and rewording --Swans07 (talk) 19:05, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Trade Centre WalesThe Trade Centre Group – The Trade Centre Wales Ltd is now known as The Trade Centre Group PLC. The Trade Centre Wales & The Trade Centre UK are trading styles of TTCG. Changed on companies house June 19. 62.253.143.26 (talk) 09:18, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Trade Centre Group, per WP:THE. In my neck of the woods, the company trades as Trade Centre UK (no "The" incidentally, so not commonly used in running text per WP:THE), so the current article would be better off expanded into the national company. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:44, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Vandalism[edit]

The recent vandalism of this page has taken place due to an ongoing dispute between the organization's owner and a local skate park project. I have been monitoring the situation on Social Media and noticed a number of people are posting their Wiki edits so I have taken steps to protect the page from vandalism over the next 7 days and will be repairing and improving content whilst I am at it. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Treatment lies disrespectful and unprofessional[edit]

My father brought me a fiat 500 twin air lounge on the 1st of june2021. This was because he needed me to be able to get to him in Cheshire as and when I needed him or when he needed me. We explained to the sales manager that we were looking for a reliable car to do the mummy things!! go shopping and travel from my home in Derbyshire to dad in RUNCORN Cheshire!!!! We ended up buying a fiat 500 DE14LDD.

Dad had been suffering from his illnesses and I made several trips to and from Cheshire.

I work on the burger vans at festivals. Earning £100 a day. On Wednesday 25th of August I was travelling to the creamfields festival when just as I was coming off the M56 the car jumped out of gear luckily this happened as I was about to leave the motorway!!! As I approached the traffic lights at the top of the slip road I couldnt get the car in to gear, after a few changes of traffic lights i finally got it into gear and get off the roundabout thankfully the festival was about 2miles down the road. We informed the RAC PLATINUM WARRANTY OF the complaints with the car but they was unable to get near the car!!!! On the bank holiday monday we met the RAC at the car where the technician drove it round a field followed us back to dads where we raised concerns. The RAC bloke told me in was I my head and it drove perfectly for him and was safe enough to drive back to Derbyshire. I didnt agree got dad to drive it and he said it's not right and said no way was j driving it home so had another RAC bloke out who said it wasnt fit to drive anywhere. Where they took me to keele services where the car was left and a taxi took me home. The car was took to somewhere in derby instead of Ripley Derbyshire. When we finally got it to a garage close to us. Which was RAC warranted they did a road test and said it was jumping out of gear but still in gear and that it had issues with the gearbox and flywheel. They said that you would put a new clutch in the car if it was having a new flywheel and gearbox. Not at one point after contacting tradecentre rotherham was they helpful. We had been mis sold the RAC policy as we was told it covered the turbo air conditioning unit. Catalytic converter, gearbox he said I wont bore you with things we didnt know and listed the above not once was we told it covered parts or some models equipment as mentioned above. He said if they couldnt fit it within 8hrs I would get a hire car!!! 95days later and still no hire car and shocking customer services. We was given internal emails had the phone put down on us!! no calls were returned and no responses to our emails after all the issues, we decided for dad to drive from Cheshire to Derbyshire to pick me up then to tradecentre uk rotherham where we were totally disrespected and told basically by Philip Evans after sales manager that it was our problem and wasnt INTERESTED in pointing us in the right direction to help resolve these major issues after days of reading about consumer rights we discovered that black horse owned the car due to the little bit of finance that was on the fiat 500 and would help sort it out!!!! Bare in mind its now 6weeks since this nightmare began. And I was at my wits end with how your staff lied gave us internal emails didnt return any calls or emails and showed nothing but the lowest form of professionalism. The staff were rude unhelpful and even had the phone put down on us. Because of the stress of finding all the correct things out by days and days on the internet my bulimia and self harming had kicked back in resulting in losing 2stone In weight and shedding my arms and legs to pieces.. weeks and weeks passed and finally the car was back at tradecentre rotherham where they said there was issues with the gearbox flywheel and clutch. Between black horse and tradecentre rotherham they decided to sort the car out between them and fix the issues. I can give you names dates and the catalogue of failures you have provided us with. You have put us through so much stress dad was put in HOSPITAL with angina and my self harm is at its worst it's been for 5 years. Yesterday Rochelle from tradecentre rotherham said the gearbox was being fitted and then after extensive test I was told to collect the car. But on thursday i was told it was being brought back to me o monday. So Rochelle telephoned me to say that the fiat 500 passed these tests and would be brought to me today Friday 10th December but on the way to me the delivery driver rang the office and told them the clutch was not working properly and he wasnt prepared to deliver it to me YOU HAVE HAD THE CHANCE TO MAKE THIS RIGHT SAID IT PASSED ALL THE INTENSIVE TEST AND THEN THE CLUTCH FAILED RESULTING IN THE CAR BEING TOOK BACK TO TRADECENTRE ROTHERHAM. ITS BEEN GOING ON NEARLY 100DAYS AND STILL NOTHInG IS SORTED THE CAR is clearly unfit for purpose and we either want a replacement or a full refund and compensation for all you have done an you please phone me on 07561132855 Teresa moloney a very unsatisfied person BAD press coverage is not what you want so I strongly recommend this is sorted this weekend and my phone call is returned after this discussion T Moloney 82.132.244.176 (talk) 19:41, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Uh... okay? Most dealerships have the same issues, this problem isn't unique to TCG. Also, please calm down. JTE727 (talk) 14:06, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy[edit]

I removed the speedy there is a bit to much here for that path. There are references enough that is likely to pass WP:N if submitted to WP:AfD. While the article does need work, it is not speedy candidate. Jeepday (talk) 15:01, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, that's fine.
I gave up trying to fix this page long ago. It's already cleaned of most puffery, and can safely remain on Wikipedia. JTE727 (talk) 14:56, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
