I will review this article. Thank you.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 15:38, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

  • "A number of remakes and adaptations, including a Gujarati play, were in production as of November 2017." — "A number of remakes and adaptations, including a Gujarati play, are in production as of November 2017."
  • Done. Actually, it was changed during c/e.Krish | Talk 23:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Raja Kamerkar, a popular Bollywood film director, receives this news from his father during a screening of his film starring Priyanka Chopra, who suggests Raja leave for the hospital" — Is it Chopra who requests Raja to go or the father? Do specify in the article who it is.
  • If Raja is Gajanan's son, the sentence "Raja Kamerkar, a popular Bollywood film director, receives this news from his father during a screening of his film" can be rephrased as "Raja Kamerkar, Gajanan's son and a popular Bollywood film director, receives this news from his father during a screening of his film"
  • Well, actually, Raja is the nephew of Gajanan. Tweaked the sentence. I hope it good now.Krish | Talk 23:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • How did Raja received news about his father from his father himself? Makes it look like Gajanan had no major issues.
  • The first paragraph of the "production" section is unsourced.
  • She said, "From the minute I heard the script, I knew I wanted to make this film. It's one single moment that defines the rest of the film. It is funny, ironical and a deeply moving tale that will leave you laughing and crying. I am very lucky to have such a talented collection of actors coming together for my debut Marathi production." — Borders on WP:QUOTEFARM. Do explain a bit about her view of the film.
  • "Rameshwar S. Bhagat edited the film while Alok De did the sound mixing." — This is unsourced too.
  • "The music directors wanted her to record a female version but she was apprehensive of singing in Marathi but later decided to record the song, calling it "powerful and moving"." — Repetition of "but". Maybe, "The music directors wanted her to record a female version. She was initially apprehensive of singing in Marathi but later decided to record the song, calling it "powerful and moving"."? Also, do mention why she was apprehensive at first.
  • "Chopra recorded a soulful song called "Baba" and featured in its music video, which was used to promotione the film." — Move it to the second para of the "Music section". Change the sentence to "Priyanka Chopra also recorded a song titled "Baba" for the film, making her Marathi singing debut, which was released on 3 November 2016. Chopra also featured in its music video, which was used to promote the film."
  • Tweaked both sentences.Krish | Talk 23:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kunal Guha of Mumbai Mirror gave a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 and said, "Rajesh Mapuskar handholds this one carefully, trying his best to contain the story and characters from stretching the limits of exaggeration. While he largely succeeds, he should be credited for elaborately examining the unexpressed emotions in relationships—and doing so amidst the cacophony of various other parallel tracks—without allowing either to shadow the other." — QUOTEFARM again. Trim it and explain the critic's opinion.

@Krish!: I'll perform the source review tomorrow. BTW, the photo of Mapuskar in the "Critical reception" section looks questionable. Surely some shots of him can be found at BH. Do try and use one of those.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 12:34, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, there aren't any photos to find on BH. The site has changed for the worst.Krish | Talk 23:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
...Few more
  • Use links 1 and 2 to source the sentence "Ventilator has received positive reviews from critics." (I have changed it from critical acclaim as both these references only mention "positive reviews").

Source review[edit]

  • Fully format all references with the publisher/work's name. Specify the authors as "|last=|first=" on every reference with an author's name. Here are the list of references that need fixing (in terms of formatting that is).
  1. Ref 2, 3, 4 and 20 — Missing date of publication and accessdate.
  2. Ref 5 — Missing author's name, date of publication and accessdate.
  3. Ref 7, 9 and 25 — Missing accessdate.
  4. Ref 10 — Wikilink Business Standard and include IANS as "|agency=Indo-Asian News Service". Link IANS only at first instance.
  5. Ref 11 — Missing date of publication (which is 31 August 2016 BTW).
  6. Ref 12 — In the title of the link here on WP ("Priyanka Chopra Launches Song From Debut Marathi Production Ventilator"), all of the words starts with capital letters. Make it the same as the title of the URL ("Priyanka Chopra launches song from debut Marathi production 'Ventilator'")
  7. Ref 13 — Missing author's name and accessdate.
  8. Ref 14 — Missing accessdate. Include IANS as "|agency=Indo-Asian News Service".
  9. Ref 15 — Wikilink Press Trust of India and state it as the agency, not as the author. Include PTI as "|agency=Press Trust of India". Link PTI only at first instance.
  10. Ref 16 and 24 — Missing author's name. Firstpost is a news service. Change from "|publisher=" to "|work=".
  11. Ref 18 and 23 — Missing date of publication and accessdate. Include IANS as "|agency=Indo-Asian News Service".
  12. Ref 19 — Missing accessdate. Include IANS as "|agency=Indo-Asian News Service".
  13. Ref 22 — Use this reference instead. It contains the proper date of publication.
  14. Ref 33, 38, 41 and 44 — Missing author's name. For reference 44, Pradeep Bandekar is the author's name (even though he took the photos only).
  15. Ref 34, 35 and 36 — Missing author's name and date of publication.
  16. Ref 37 — Missing date of publication.
  17. Ref 48 — Include PTI as "|agency=Press Trust of India".
  18. Ref 50 — Include IANS as "|agency=Indo-Asian News Service".

That's about it from me.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 07:42, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
