Template scope[edit]

Note: I have included some Rochester-area colleges and universities in this navigational box with the rationale that functionally they are part of central New York. Kind regards, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 11:22, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder about also including Binghamton University and Broome Community College. Thoughts? Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 13:23, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have included both of the above, in the interest of inclusiveness, and because there arguably are geographical synergies in higher education throughout the region, broadly defined. Regards, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 13:50, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded a bit further to include Jefferson Community College, Saint Lawrence University, Clarkson University, and a few others. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 10:15, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for including these. I actually think this is a very useful template and don't see any issues with including colleges that might be more on the margins geographically. Jjazz76 (talk) 21:58, 7 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
