Two help templates[edit]

Template:H:f Help and this one, template:Editor toc, overlap to some extent, and they are both present on the same page (see for example Help:Edit summary; one is to the side, and one is at the bottom).

Maybe a good idea would be to remove one of them, and keep only one, while signifcantly trimmed. I find these two big templates to clutter help pages, rather than helping. Comments? Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:47, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can't judge what you say, but it's a tricky issue, the H:?-templates belong to a system:
Template:H:h Help(edit talk links history) pulls a specific {{Phh:{{PAGENAME}}}} header
Template:H:f Help(edit talk links history) pulls a specific {{Ph:{{PAGENAME}}}} footer
{{H:h Help}} also pulls {{hh}} (or similar). It's difficult to get rid of the H:?-templates, they come from the master help pages on Meta. -- Omniplex 23:53, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I do not get the point. The templates do not overlap at all, and moreover, one is from Meta and the other is from Project. --Yecril (talk) 16:49, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
