I updated the list of nations to match the official report (found here). See the list of participants sorted by NOC starting on page 541. That leaves 123 nations, which does not match the IOC figure of 121 nations (at this site), which is also what we list on the main page (1972 Summer Olympics). I think one discrepancy is that three named athletes (all in cycling) from LBA do not appear to have competed. I can't find the other one. Andrwsc 21:23, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
