Sources for Browse Box[edit]

The Notre Dame Football Media guide was used as the definitive guide on who should be considered a Notre Dame head coach. I doubt there are more authoritative sources -- KelleyCook 18:37, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with KelleyCook that only individuals identified as a head coach in an official source should be included in the NavBox. "Interim" head coaches do not hold the official title. Besides, a comprehensive list of "interim" coaches would have to include Tom Lieb, Kent Baer and George O'Leary (among others), not to mention a dozen or so student-coaches prior to 1894.
