Ice heaving and frostjacking[edit]

Here is a link to a video of a May 2013 ice heave in Mille Lacs, Minnesota: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpAZF3raE7U> and here is a link to an entry-level explanation of ice heave: <http://www.pelicanlakemn.org/Education/Lake_Learning/tremendous_power_of_lake_ice.htm> Shall we create an article? And although I'm familiar with frostjacking as a curiosity and an annoyance (fig 8 at <https://www.dmr.nd.gov/ndgs/newsletter/Summer%202011/Frost%20Heave.pdf>), I found out it's also called frost pull. And frostjacking is also the crime of stealing an unattended car that has its motor running on a frigid day. Mang (talk) 04:32, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
