scope[edit]

contra costa county has school districts, while san francisco county shows parks and other articles of interest; maybe rename to topics relating to solano county, california?Cholga 20:14, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know there are some other counties that use the Template:US county navigation box that include sections beyond municipalities and communities. This is because they were existing templates that had the Template:US county navigation box applied to them. These additional sections should be removed. Templates need to have a limited scope or they will continue to grow beyond the point of functionality, and this navigational box is intentionally designed to be limited to municipalities and communities. Only 5 of the 58 California county navboxes have listings beyond municipalities and communities, so those five need to be brought into compliance. VerruckteDan 14:22, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
