May 2008[edit]

Should the Lowell National Historical Park be added to this template? What are the criteria for inclusion? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about the Calico Museum of Textiles? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:10, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could the Chojun Textile & Quilt Art Museum be added? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:12, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could Bielsko-Biała Museum be added? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Could Helmshore be added? Note that the article is on the town, not just the museum. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery the current location of the former Lewis Textile Museum (which closed in 2006 and probably should not be added to the template)? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about Ethnographic Museum (Belgrade)? Note that the scope of the museum includes cultural artifacts beyond textiles. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:23, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:36, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about the Museum of Work and Culture? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:38, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about Bates Mill? The article is more about the history of the Mill and only mentions a contemporary textile museum toward the end. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:48, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about Wollaton Hall? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:51, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about Pendleton Woolen Mills#Mission Mill Museum? 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:53, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All of those are good choices; I will add them. The criteria were for any articles in the category at the time I created the template. Thanks for providing these links.
Any museum with an extensive textile collection which is mentioned in the wikipedia article on the museum should be added to the category, tagged for the Textile Arts project, and added to the template. - PKM (talk) 16:51, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And all of these are now added to the category, tagged for the Textile Arts project, and added to the template. - PKM (talk) 17:26, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

February 2010[edit]

I added Quarry Bank Mill to the template. I don't know how to add the template to the Quarry Bank Mill article, or tag it for the Textile Arts project. User:jbburks —Preceding undated comment added 22:12, 7 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]
