Citation[edit]

This template had only one short citation."Gradstein et al. (2004)" The problem with that is that no long citation was included in the References section. I had a look through the half dozen or so articles that used this template and only one, the article Buntsandstein, contained the following bullet point in a "Literature" section:

  • Gradstein, F.M.; Ogg, J.G. & Smith, A.G.; 2004: A Geologic Time Scale 2004, Cambridge University Press.

The rest only contained the short citation as was contained in this template.

To "fix" this I will include this citations both as a long and a short citation (set with a short parameter) but defaulting to long one:

  • Gradstein, Ogg & Smith 2005
  • Gradstein, F.M.; Ogg, J.G.; Smith, A.G. (2005), A Geologic Time Scale 2004, Cambridge University Press, ISBN 9780521786737
