Revamp[edit]

Hi. I'm the one who recently revamped the template. I am changing a couple of elements back to how I had them. I had originally intended to make the subheadings blue, as has now been done by someone else, using the secondary color in the same way I used Penn's red at {{Penn}}. After previewing, though, I found UFL's official shade of blue was way too close to the default unclicked-link color in used in most browsers, and might prove confusing to a reader. Orange just wasn't as readable as I would have liked. I am changing the subheadings back to dark grey.

I selected the white-on-orange header color scheme based on the page headers at the UFL website and the content of these pages: http://identity.ufl.edu/signatureSystem/ and http://identity.ufl.edu/web/. Blue text on orange and, to an extent, vice vera are hard on the eyes and relatively difficult to read, which is probably why UFL seems to avoid the combination on its website, instead opting for white text on blue or orange. Since orange is a much more unique color amongst colleges than blue, I used that as the field color, and just made the widgets in the top corners blue. I am also setting this back to how it was. --Dynaflow babble 06:04, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As I do not know how to do what I think should be added, I will just hope someone does it. I think you should probably have the cultural center under list of buildings. This includes the Performing arts center, the Harn Art Museum and the Florida Museum of Natural history. Thanks.

If there's an article on it, I can add it. I didn't see one, though. Am I missing it, or does one need to be written? --Dynaflow babble 07:18, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The UF Cultural Plaza does not have an article on it now, but you could just make a section on the template and include the three buildings. The Florida Museum of Natural History, the Samuel_P._Harn_Museum_of_Art, Florida_Museum_of_Natural_History, and the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. So I would ad it under the culture section you have already on the template. wtc69789

Pop culture[edit]

I removed Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile from the Culture and lore section but idk if we should include pop culture in that section. If anything, maybe we could include this subgrouping?:
