Namespace based detection[edit]

This template doesn't seem formatted to separate things in the Project (Wikipedia) namespace and template namespace. Seems there's a "catchall" NA-importance instead. I would say that organizing templates and project pages in your wikiproject would be benefit to your project in the future. Killiondude (talk) 02:46, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP California's template detects namespaces and places them into the appropriate category. Like Category:Project-Class California articles and Category:Template-Class California articles. That way things like article alerts can let you know if one of the templates or project pages related to your wikiproject has been nominated for deletion.
