From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Melkor was jealous of him, for Aulë was most like himself in thought and in powers; and there was long strife between them, in which Melkor ever marred or undid the works of Aulë, and Aulë grew weary in repairing the tumults and disorders of Melkor. Both, also, desired to make things of their own that should be new and unthought of by others and delighted in the praise of their skill. But Aulë remained faithful to Eru and submitted all that he did to his will; and he did not envy the works of others, but sought and gave counsel. Whereas Melkor spent his spirit in envy and hate, until at last he could make nothing save in mockery of the thought of others, and all their works he destroyed if he could.

This user is a stub.[edit]

A picture of me to be used in all media.

Welcome to my lame user page. So far, I've contributed a good little bit to Wikipedia, though I'm obviously not nearly as prolific as most dedicated Wikipedians.

My work has included a few instances of editing a VfD article to get it to survive the deletion vote, numerous small page edits, and my pride and joy:

Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices

which I started, and which has grown through the contributions of many other users into a really good article on a fairly obscure subject.

Links removed from MUTCD article[edit]

This user is also a ham sandwich.[edit]

If you are interested in citing my credentials, please list me as a "noted ham sandwich in the Wikipedia community". Don't worry about checking up on this statement, as I hereby verify it to be true.

TLA[edit]

I'm in favor of converting most direct articles of three-letter acronyms to disambiguation pages when there are at least two articles that the TLA could reasonably be redirected to, as a matter of guideline.

Current Projects[edit]

  • None currently

In addition, I enjoy playing Whack-a-mole on the Recent Changes and New Pages lists. Masochistic? Perhaps.
